WMS 5th and 6th grade GT Classes participated in The Story Store Writing Competition. This project is sponsored by the drama department at Williams Baptist University. Professor Melinda Williams selects stories written by "young authors" to incorporate into her script for the spring drama performance each year. The GT classes attended the play last week and the winning students were recognized after the performance. They received a copy of the final script of the play which was "autographed" by all of the actors. Seven of the students from the WMS GT program had stories selected to be used in the script for the play. Congratulations to Meredith Smith, Nathan Templeton, Carter Bowers, Ally Johnson, Kinsley Booth, Nora O'Connell, and Isabelle Constantine! It was a great day to be a WARRIOR!

Mrs. Butts' 5th and 6th grade GT students at Westside Middle School have been competing in Chess Try-Outs over the past few months, and the 2025 Chess Team is officially set!

CJ Murray
Nathan Templeton
Ellis Eggers
Izzie Alexander
Isabelle Constantine
Nora O'Connell
