The high school parking lot entrance is now blocked.
Christmas the Warrior Way will take place TONIGHT from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Please see the traffic map that is attached. Traffic will enter the campus at the north side of the high school off of Hwy 91. Traffic will be routed around the high school, to the middle school, and then exiting after the elementary school. All cars must enter the campus from Hwy 91 West coming from I-555 and Dan Avenue. There will be no left hand turns entering the high school entrance so we can keep traffic moving. There will be no entrance at the high school parking lot. The traffic flow has been flipped from last year so we can keep as many cars moving on the highway as possible.
Parents of Seniors,
Tomorrow, Dec. 7th, a representative from ASUN will be here to help students who are planning to attend ASU-Newport in the Fall 2022. They will help with applying, registration, applying to scholarships, etc.
Please meet in Mrs. Edlemon's room at 9:30 on Tuesday, Dec. 7th.
Warrior Upcoming Events for December 6th-11th!
We have had some of our Westside High School “elves” helping get goodies ready for Christmas the Warrior Way! Monday will be here before you know it.

No School on November 22nd-26th for Teacher Professional Development Make-up Days and Thanksgiving Break. School will resume on Monday, November 29, 2021.

Westside High School Air Force Junior ROTC visited several local cemeteries on Wednesday to place an American Flag on all graves marked as a Veteran.
Cadets provided “Thank you for your service gift bags” to each of our Westside Consolidated School District employees who are Veterans.
The bags include a Veteran Yeti purchased by the cadets and hats, shirts, cups, pens, phone charges, and other items provided by our local military recruiters.
The cadets will provide a Color Guard for a Veteran’s Day event at Riverside High School on Thursday and complete their Veterans Day activities by marching in the Annual Jonesboro Veterans Day Parade on Saturday morning.

Information for Seniors:
Brown's Graduation will be meeting with Seniors tomorrow at 9:45 am in the Fine Arts Center. Mr. Brown will be discussing important information concerning graduation supplies and orders. All Seniors are encouraged to attend. If they have a modified schedule and would not normally be at school during this time frame, they should check in the high school office before attending the meeting.

The 8th Annual Red & White Boys Basketball Games, BBQ Dinner and Auction will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 starting at 5:30 p.m. in the WHS Gym & Cafeteria.

Funny Little Thing Called Love will be performed by the WHS Theatre students and directed by Rita Johnson , November 11, 12, and 13th. The show begins @ 7:00 PM each evening in the WHS Fine Arts Center. Ticket prices are $3.00 for Students, $5.00 for Adults and can be purchased at the door the evening of the performances. Social distancing will be followed by the audience and masks will be worn by the crew backstage. The cast will not be masked for the performances.
The story line is about the 4 letter word :L-O-V-E and takes place under a full moon on the same evening in various locations around the world; From Florida to Dallas, to Hawaii to a roof top in London, cupid’s love arrow just can’t be ignored. This deliriously funny comedy by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten is a show you don’t want to miss.
Flu clinic will be Tuesday, November 2 at Westside Elementary and Wednesday, November 3 at Westside middle and high schools. Forms are going home with students in the next few days and are also available in the office. If you want your child to receive this year's flu vaccine, please return all completed and signed forms by October 28.
