The true spirit of a Warrior on display at the ROTC Drill meet this evening at Fort Chaffee. Competitive fire, teamwork, grit, compassion, support, and grinding to the finish. Our Warrior “Raider PT Teams” did a fantastic job battling frigid weather as they did what it took to finish what they started! It’s always a great day to be a Warrior!!! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-8i98vHN_4gSSJm9YzR3lpld-E8IZ1nM

Combined with elementary and high school collection totals, Warrior Nation was able to GRANT A WISH! Thank you to everyone that participated and helped to promote this charity that continues to give to so many children and families right here in North East Arkansas!

Warrior Senior High Quiz Bowl was short-handed with only 4 players today, but they left their mark with a 4-3 record at the Earle Invitational Tournament, losing only to the top finishers Jonesboro and Marion. Jackson Parks and Slade Smith earned spots on the all-tournament team, and Jackson was also recognized as the High Point Player, finishing with a higher average than any player from any team at the competition. As we end this week, Westside Consolidated School District wants to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to all of our school counselors. This week was National School Counseling Week. Westside Elementary is proud to have both Tammy Romines and Amanda Etter showing their compassion and dedication while they create a safe learning environment for our "Little Warriors." Westside Middle School's Kelly Rider makes sure to encourage and listen to our students during some of the most challenging years of a student's life. Julie Tubbs and Carol little provide so much support, advice, and resources for students at Westside High School. Thank you to all of our school counselors and to all school counselors everywhere. The impact that our counseling team have on our students every day is immeasurable and we cannot thank each of you enough for what you do!!!
